About Me

I have been interested in personal and spiritual development for most of my adult life and have explored many different healing modalities, both as a client and as a practitioner. I have been inspired by many wonderful teachers, coaches and mentors along the way.

I was brought up on the beautiful estate of Auchincruive in Ayrshire, an agricultural college.  After graduating from Glasgow University, I started my career in local government where I qualified as an accountant and spent 16 years working first in Kent and then in Edinburgh.

A holistic holiday to the Greek island of Skyros in the late 1990s proved life-changing and opened my eyes, heart and mind to a different way of living. Not long afterwards, I left my job and established a holistic shop and therapy centre in the Scottish Borders which I had for four years.

I was drawn back into the corporate world and had a variety of senior finance roles in the charity, banking and financial services sectors. However, after a number of years, I finally came to accept that my real passion is in helping others.  I left my job and moved back to my home town of Ayr where, after a period of retraining, I established my therapy practice in Alloway House Business Centre, Ayr

I am also interested in end-of-life care and am a Board member for No-one Dies Alone Ayrshire (https://noonediesaloneayrshire.org)

I am committed to life-long learning and continue to add to my knowledge and understanding through continuing professional development.

I am fully insured and a member of relevant professional bodies.
